Minister of Music

Lawson Barnes is a talented songwriter and performer. A carpenter by day (just like Jesus!), Lawson writes much of the music we sing at our services, as well as performing his own folk-rock compositions in other places. 






Born in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Tom Emanuel is a poet, songwriter, and candidate for ordained ministry in the United Church of Christ. He is in the final year of his Master of Divinity program at Pacific School of Religion and also serves as Associate Minister for Worship Arts at Mira Vista UCC.



Chair of Board & Acting Moderator

Barbara Cook experiences Christianity through an interfaith lens and a focus on the path Jesus walked.  She love koans, long walks in the woods and whiskey.  She and her wife, Susan, made a promise in their wedding vows seventeen years ago to make their relationship a loving and welcome circle for others just as it is for them. 




An Interfaith minister, the Rev. Laura Rolen is a professor of psychology, and is the call center co-ordinator at the San Francisco Night Ministry. She serves as our representative to the United Church of Christ.






Parish Secretary

An Old Catholic deacon, the Rev. Ric Reed served as many years as our sacristan and organist. Ric composes music for our services and serves as our representative to the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.
